Rink status update ahead of tonight’s local derby match

The Bracknell Bees Directors would like to send a quick update to both Bracknell Bees and Guildford Flames supporters this evening in regards to our rink conditions.

  • Heating at the rink has improved but it is advisable to wrap up warm as still not at the usual heat we know from our arena.
  • Guildford Flames supporters will be seated in Block 1 (Behind goal) & 2 (Usual away area)
  • Block 4 downstairs is out of use while the rink are replacing tiles overhead.
  • The Plexi around the rink is now fully clear (following condensation)
  • Tonight’s match will not be streamed. There maybe one camera for recording of the game (we will keep bodies to a minimum)
  • We still have a temporary scoreboard in place. For Guildford Flames supporters in block 2, your view will be restricted. Advisable to try block one first. Our match DJ will increase timing calls.

We would like to thank all supporters for their understanding and to Mr Nike & John Nike Leisure Centre staff for all their hard work.

We hope you enjoy the match this evening.
