Tonight’s Game v Sheffield Steeldogs – All The Info You Need!

We look forward to seeing you all at The Hive this coming Sunday for the Bracknell Bees regular season home game versus the Sheffield Steeldogs in a big match in the Bees hunt for the final play-off spot.

Below is all of the information and highlights that you need to know!

Chow down on some top BBQ food pre-match!

If you visit Blues pre-game remember to wear your Bees or Steeldogs jersey with pride as it will entitle you to a Free Match Day Starter Platter (featuring Gator Eggs, Cheesy Poppers, Kickin’ Wings & Jalapeno Torpedos)!

The Army Benevolent Fund (ABF), one of this years Bracknell Bees supported charities, will be joining us as the match night sponsor for this Sundays home game – you can out more about them at www.soldierscharity.org – and we welcome them and thank them for their tremendous efforts!

The Army Benevolent Fund (ABF) is one of the Bees chosen charities and for this game the team will again be wearing Special Edition ABF shirts with a collection being made throughout the game to go to the ABF. Soldiers from Sword Company Army Training Centre Pirbright will be doing the collection on behalf of the fantastic cause, please give generously.

Face Off Time
We are all set for a 6pm face off with doors opening at 5.15pm.   Please ensure you arrive in plenty of time and are in your seat for the pre-game build-up!

Special pre-game music & National Anthem
The Bracknell Bees are delighted to welcome Iona Scotson (nee MacDonald) to tonight’s game.  As part of tonight’s match, in aid of the Army Benevolent Fund, Iona will be performing the National Anthem, and some other tunes, pre-game on the bag pipes!

Live Stream coverage
If you can’t make it along to The Hive don’t panic as this weekends match will be streamed LIVE from The Hive at www.icehockeylive.co.uk  Our media partners Daniel Elkington Photography will provide the video coverage and John Slater of Usual Suspects Media will be providing the commentary.   Coverage will start just before face-off at 6pm.

Match Night Mascots – proudly sponsored by St Vincents Vets!
For this game we have Daniel Hyman & Ben Burton-Harris joining us from the Bracknell Ice Hockey Club (BIHC) as match night mascots!

50/50 Cash Prize Draw
Make sure that you see one of our ticket sellers around the rink and bar to purchase your ticket, priced at £1 each – YOU NEED TO BEE IN IT TO WIN IT!   For each ticket purchased 50% goes to the prize fund and 50% goes straight into the club for further investment and support of the team so the more tickets you buy the bigger the prize!

Shirt Off A Players Back
The ever popular Shirt Off A Players Back raffle returns this week vs the Sheffield Steeldogs and this week you have the chance to win player/coach Lukas Smital’s Armed Forces shirt, straight from his back and the end of the game.   The lucky winner will be presented the shirt on-ice post-game and have their photo taken as the shirt is handed over.

Shirt Off A Back raffle ticket sellers can be found in the foyer, in the Bees Knees Bar and walking around the rink.   You can also purchase tickets at the Bees Shop (upstairs in the corner of Block 4, opposite the bar) or at the merchandise desk in the foyer.

Blues Smokehouse Sponsored Chuck-a-Puck and Chuck-a-Duck
The Bracknell Bees Chuck-a-Puck and Chuck-a-Duck weekly events will now be sponsored by Blues Smokehouse and they will include prizes from Blues in the prize package for the winners of each event at Bees home games so don’t forget to purchase yours, priced at £1 each, to take part in the second period interval fun with a chance to win!

The Bracknell Bees Official Match Night programme – The Buzz!
The Bees official match night programme, compiled and edited for us by our media partners Usual Suspects Media, will be available still priced at £2.50 and packed with match reports, interesting articles, team information etc…– pick up your copy from the Bees Shop (upstairs in the corner of Block 4, opposite the bar) or at the merchandise desk in the foyer also.

Merchandise
The Bracknell Bees Club Shop has a great range of Bees merchandise including clothing, memorablia and Bracknell Bees replica jerseys all on SALE! right now!   Pop up to the shop, in the upper corner of the rink between blocks 4 and 5 but BEE quick as things are selling fast!

Post-game signing table
The post-game player signing table returns this week so why not bring those jerseys, programmes etc.. along and get them signed.   This is a weekly event so please check our social media and programme each week to see who will be manning the signing table after each game.

On the signing table on Sunday post-game will be Lukas Smital, Harvey Stead and Shaun Thompson!

2016/17 Own & Loan Jersey collections
The successful participants in this seasons Own & Loan scheme will have their Black jerseys handed to them in a special presentation post-game on Sunday.

Your jersey will be available post-game and you can then have your photo on the ice with the player in question handing you the jersey.
