The Bracknell Bees today wish to announce that they have opted to release Czech forward Krystof Kafan from his contract with the club.
The twenty-six year old joined the Bees this off-season from Tours, in France, as part of a new look non-British trained line-up. In twenty one games so far this season Krystof had contributed three goals, three assists and twenty six penalty minutes.
The Bracknell Bees players, management and volunteers wish to thank Krystof for his effort and commitment this season and wish him all the best for the future.
Speaking on the decision Bees Head Coach Lukas Smital commented:
“Obviously a choice like this is never easy to make and something that is never pleasant to do but things have not worked out for Krystof on the ice this season. It is a shame as he is a genuinely great guy that was a big part of the team off the ice and in the dressing room. He will be sorely missed by the team but wasn’t able to fulfill his potential with us. We would like to thank Krystof for his efforts while in the Black, White and Gold of the Bees.”
